The next contest is kind of a "how much is inside" for cars. The theme is fuel efficiency.

In the contest, Duxbury High School students would keep track of their fuel consumption and driving distance. After gathering some baseline data, a tank or two of gas and the resulting miles per gallon, they would propose some change. Changing driving habits, modifying the fuel system, stuff like that. They would then continue to keep track of their mileage and what they did to increase the mileage. At the end, they would be judged on their data integrity, the changes in habit and or vehicle equipment, how well they documented their process. How much they improved the mileage may or may not be a direct prize.

We will need some judges to evaluate the work of the entrants. The whole process should take about a month of time for the contest. Judges would evaluate the online documentation of the work. The judges should not have friends or relatives at Duxbury High School. We will need at least three judges.
